BUILDING MOUNTAINS
I build each mountain on a base of ½-inch (12.5mm) plywood, two feet wide and eight feet long, with a vertical framework of 2x4s and 1x2s. This framework should be angle-braced to give a rigid support for the mountain and provide solid landing zones for your helicopter.

Since 2011 I got some experience with this tinny chopper. Now three of them are in my fleet.

My favourite setup:
- $9 CF frame - since 2011 and thousands of flights I broke it only once

- Kbar gyro - it makes the difference, $26 on eBay with free world wide shipment you can not be unhappy, my friend having many Vbars mini and full size preferes Kbar over mini Vbar for some reason...

Canopy Repairs And Painting Tips Please
So I've got a stock canopy that has a few cracks in the paint and gelcoat as well as a spare rear fuselage from my Sylphide that I'm thinking of doing a custom paint job on, but not having much experience with anything other than a rattle can, I'd like some advice and/or links to some good how to articles that will prepare me for project.
Also what's the best paint to use keeping in mind I need to keep the weight down on an F3C machine?

As I was more unlucky then lucky with Align because of quality differences of their shipping outputs and their "we are sorry to hear about your problems" politics in customer service I want to sell all my Align helis and build something new. Something realy precise, durable and with the ability for very low AND very high headspeeds. The brand should be well known because of the availability of spare parts. So no clones or small brands please. Im looking for a model size 600 upwards.
Im getting more and more into the world of hard smacking...
