Known for his great SmackTalk videos with Bert Kammerer and designing items like the Delcon System, Bobby Watts is a household name in the RC world. Although you won’t find Bobby on the competition circuit anymore, he is more active in the hobby than ever. With his new company, Encore RC, and still working closely with Gaui and Halo Blades, I don’t know if this guy ever sleeps. I was lucky enough to hang out with Bobby at his house...

Dioramas bring life to your helicopter operations.
From the first week that I flew a small co-axial helicopter, I knew that I wanted to fly more authentic-styled helicopters and have proper landing zones (LZ’s) for the missions I intended to fly indoors with micro-sized helis.
I can certainly appreciate a big open floor with a soft rug to land on, like a big open field of deep grass. That is...

Question?
Does Servo Resoulution Matter?
Ok its my preference for a fast and accurate servo over a slow grunty servo. But one specification i never see mentioned is the servo RESOLUTION.. so why don't servo manufacturers quote servo resolution? Is it because it is largely determined by the gyro/radio/receiver?
If i am flying a heli fast then speed and the accuracy of the servo are critical (providing ENOUGH torque is there to cater for maximum load).
Any thoughts?

Wow ! New Goblin Speed
The awesomeness of my husband has revealed itself yet again. This time he surprised me with two sets of main blade covers from Wing Tote. His reason? He didn`t want to see my nice looking blades get banged up on the way to and from the flying field.
The blade covers are very high quality, and will fit 600/720mm main blades. No need for a blade holder either. They have a velcro strap that goes around the tail boom, and back around itself to hold the covers to the boom.
