It might not be so impressive to those with over $1000 tied up in their night flyers, but then again, there isn't much that can be done to a $120 micro-heli that runs on 1S power and doesn't have much tolerance for extra weight. 5 strategically placed LEDs does make for a highly visible little night-bird though. I credit @smakmeharder for giving me the idea of back-lighting the canopy. I am also running a CF tailboom stretched 56mm longer than stock length.

While flying my MINIP today i heard a strange sound coming from the helicopter. Just to be sure i thought i should land my chopper before something bad happens.. I just had one of those feelings which i am sure everyone can relate to.
While landing the chopper it started to lean then suddenly it made a loud and sudden bang! The r otor head with blades still intact shot upward at flew up about 20M skyward. The blades then slowly descended - still spinning.
The problem? The top jesus bolt had snapped and fell out during flight.... it was really funny to see.
