Hi Guys, there has been some discussion about the upcoming transmission system that is patent pending, see below a brief explanation of the meaning and benefits of this design. See CAD drawing below and the pictures taken at IRCHA.

TDD means Torque Dampened Drive.

Its components consist of a special hub that houses two rubber dampers, one on each side of the hub. The dampers are held in place by a pin that is threaded on both sides which takes the place of the Jesus bolt in normal drive systems. The pin is held in place by two hex screws and a washer.

Hey guys looking for some assistance. Recently set up the CGY750 on my TREX 500 (thanks @The Dude). Have been flying and tweaking the settings to get it close to my preference and skill etc.

Initially I had it set on sport mode and found the cyclic feel to be perfect for me. However the tail was too slow. I changed the setting to 3D. Tail is now just about right, may need to slow it a little, but the cyclic is too quick.

So looking for the best way to modify the setup to achieve a sport like cyclic with a faster tail.

Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
Stu
I recently purchased a secondhand E5. After some careful transmitter setup and some assistance from forum members with the setup of the Castle ESC I took it for its maiden flight today.

Wow and wow. I was blown away with how well it flew and how locked in and stable it was. Everything about but was smooth.

It was quite windy this afternoon and the E5 didn't seem to notice. My TREX 500 was buffeted by the wind, but the E5 just ate it up.

I was really amazed at the difference between the two. I'm guessing the additional size and weight plus, governed head speed and build quality etc make...

What do you like? What do you dislike?

Me, I love them, only flown the stock SABs and these are a massive improvement, balanced perfectly great flip and roll rates, very crisp and make a great noise!

Dislikes: hmm don't really know at the moment what I dont really know what I don't like, haven't really had enough flights to find a weak point

Saying that though they have survived a light crash and are still in mint condition
