    Dear Australia

We're pleased to again be able to ship LiPO to AUS since Fedex has recently changed their flying routes to AUS from Singapore. Any questions we're here to help

This would be the best news ever for the "battery supply shortage market" of Australia, that is of course if Revo packs where any good........ ;)

      tks Chopsy
yah we had a bit of a bad hit a few years ago with our then primary vendor in China,
Since then we have actually invested in our own production facility so quite proud to say now we can control what goes in and what comes out better and sell direct at what i think are unbeatable prices. Now with AUS & NZ open again we will try to reserect sales in my home country again to be as successful as they are for us in the states

So the challenge......anyone in AUS who is already registered on our website want to have a crack?

      Criteria.
Regular flyer to can collect data quikly
      Can log data

Now is a great time to get some Revo packs since it's been quite a while that we have been able to source packs due to shipping. I am now trying great value Revolectrix GO Pack's but a little early to comment much other than saying packs come down barely warm under 6s & stone cold under 12s. I don't have any real time data.

I have always had a good run with Revos but it is up to you if you want to pay double & more.

Hard to say which size you need as the are a lot of variables involved. There is always a trade off between flight time, weight & head speeds.

I'll buy a couple of packs in a week or so, and test them. I have bought three 12s sticks before and they are all 11 or 10s now - all did less than 50 cycles. I'll report as I see them, record all IR's and charge rates (1s at home and probably 3s at the field). I'll report the first 100 flights and make comparisons to other packs I fly (gens ace and optipower. Challenge accepted RevoMan

For the last month I have been using the 5200 6s 40c Platinum label GoPacks

      http://www.store.revolectrix.com/Pr...6S-LiPO-SPLIT-PACK-40C-Platinum-Label-GoPACKS

I choose these packs because their specs are very similar in size weight and power compared to the Gens Ace 6s 5000 45c and Pulse lipos I was using in the interim period while Revo packs were not available.

So far have put 30-40 flights on these packs (using in 12s configuration) and I am impressed! they have the same power, handle power demanding manoeuvre and come down cool like high priced packs.

The IR in these packs are impressive with an average of 1.5 ohm per cell after 30-40 flights (nothing over 2 ohm) the real test will be to see how they perform after about 100 cycles but these early indications are looking promising!

For around half the price of other brands - Gens Ace, Pulse, Thunder Power etc they are definitely worth a try!! I will be trying the 70c 4400 GoPacks next

1.5 ohm is starting to get up there in my experience for power output. 2 ohm and for an aggressive pilot they are useless.

I think if they are 40c - resistance would be higher by default no matter what pak... For hard silly fast smak I find 60C is where its at- which has to be lower resistance by default.

As mentioned now that we make our own cells now................we got prices and IRs that i think can;t be beat. yes they may be a but heaver but thats what you get for lower IR

Yes that is exactly right from my experience as well. True 60C packs are heavier than equivalent 40Cpacks

For the more aggressive pilot I would suggest the 70c GoPack would be the way to go!!

      I'm up for the challenge.

I charge via a Dual PL8 and log flights via Kontronik Vcontrol integration/kosmic SD.

Couple of questions, I don't see any 7s options with the gopacks - will they be available and when? Are you able to make custom 12 & 14s stick packs?

That's cool I can make up the sticks myself if you can ship the 6s & 7s 5000's.

Any plans for a local retailer who can bring in via sea?
