After looking at the GPro android app, I'm picking the new Align GPro has a VBar in it. All of the setup options and parameters are the same as the VStabi options, and the default settings are close to the same, as well. The range of the settings seems to be the same, which sees 120 as the top setting for a lot of options.
Most advanced settings are there. The only things missing seems to be, Paddle simulation, Optimize, Auto trim, and bank switching. Also, the governor is Nitro only. I'd certainly miss not having tail optimize, but I understand you don't get this unless you have the pro firmware in the VBar, anyway.
I understand that some of Align's team pilots have been switching their 3GX's for VBar's, when not at an Align event. Perhaps this has finally convinced Align to go the way of the VBar, like Gaui. One good thing about Gaui's VBar is that there is now a path to Pro firmware, if you are prepared to pay for it, but there wasn't to start with.
Here's one to consider... has Align made a deal with Mikado, or are they using a VBar clone manufacturer???
