Today, the Federal Aviation Administration announced that the Draganflyer X4-ES has been certified for use at the first UAS test site in North Dakota. This is a huge progression in the process to integrate UAV’s into US airspace.

In December, the FAA announced six test sites chosen to perform Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) research. The location in North Dakota is the first to begin operations and did so more than two-and-a -half months ahead of the scheduled deadline set by Congress.
