Question? First Night Rig..

    I want to build a night rig.. So heres the thing.. Main blades and tail blades... Will be running a protos 500 as i have a few spare ones.. Yes.. A FEW..

    If i config as a stock 500 "430 blades" i can get blades, but don't have packs to suite a stock 500..

    If i config as a stretch 500 "470 blades" I cant seem to find main blades to suit, I'd rather go stretch as i have packs to suit.. Anyone know of any .. I rather not do home built night blades..

    There are night magic blades, but they cost a lot of $$$..

    Would like any night rig info i can get .. OR even if there is anyone who has a cheap Night Rig with packs or something that will suit 3300 Mah packs i may consider it..

    I have only just started to look into night rig so any related info would be nice.

      That's one that sux doin a 500 550 size night rig blades are
      hard to find rotor tech were all I could find and they are
      shiz compared to Curtis and edge. Good luck man.
      Also I know you haven't got one but I would recommend
      a heli no smaller than a 600. 700 is the best because at night
      you want it to be very visible thus the bigger the better.

      They still work ok but if you fly far away they ain't as bright as the others

      naa, thanks anyway dude, if i'm gunna set one up, i want to to be right .. Might have to go 500 config as i can get blades for that .. + i got LOTS of parts for protos..

      Protos 500 with 430mm blades will fly a 3300 pack fine. I fly my trex 500 with a 3300

      Protos 500 CG is way off min on 3300 gens ace... unless it's stretched with a full size tail servo ..

      Subd ive been looking at this myself id go with a 600n plenty of blade choices and enough room to stuff wiring everywhere

      700 size nitro is the best you get longer flight time
      And the bigger the disc the better is to see you should
      Use edge or curtis Youngblood show up the best

      Gunna stick with the protos 500 for a night rig.. as i have LOTS of spares, esc's servos, ect ect, enuf to build at least 3 complete 500's .. i fly close-ish anyway , so don't really need far away visuals... I contacted Magic night blades, they have some 425's in RGB coming out soon ish.. So i'll go that track.. they may also have some 360's coming out, Again for the mini P i have a lot of spares..

      Well, good news i got a set of 425 mm magic night blades, so looks like me night flyer is going to be a protos 500.. :) .. Now tail blades (what to do ?)
