Really happy about that. Having someone post more stuff about drones would be really great.

I see the club, like most in WA, is predominantly planes. Are helis completely accepted and have access to a large enough area for allot of time?
I see an open time on the website of 8am, is this really as early as one can fly??? Wind is normally lower first thing in the morning.

This is my last year living/working up north, and will be returning south likely to north Perth, and will need a club :)

Lately the club, depending on what time of the day you go, is becoming predominantly everything, helicopters, quads, jets, planes etc.

The main flight line is planes and jets. There is a dedicated hover area, its big enough for some things, but definitely not big enough for doing big stall turns.

If planes are using the main flight line, you are allowed to join in with them provided you fly in the same circuit direction. You can do loops etc etc if you fly in the same direction in them.

Also you can use the main runway for proper 3D when they are not flying, or if you get permission.

As for helicopters being completely accepted, yes they are, by the competent jet and plane flyers. A lot of the jet and plank flyers are pretty awesome people.

However, we have, or should I say, had a few people, ( which have been dealt with ) that get ideas in their heads and think otherwise, however, the committee has and does rectify this.
