Well I can do a few tricks, but one trick is alluding me and its driving me nuts. I dont know weather its my limited pilot ability or equipment or both.. I want to know how to overspeed the head - not by a bit, but alot. @3dmick says "well you just move the sticks like this" and then walks away smiling and @Manyc says its like an auto rotation in the direction which you are flying BUT, i try and sure i get a little bit of head speed but nothing like Ducan Bosion or @3dmick. So how do i do it. If i want to do a 1/2 forward flip overspeed, I know its in the timing and position of the elevator and collective but i have not figured it out yet. Its driving me a bit loopy actually because looking at it I would consider it simple. So @3dmick, did you do an overspeed with the futaba? I am wondering if its something to do with pitch boost during the transition? Any help would be appreciated...

mate you have to drive the heli down at full speed thin be for you run out of room go back to 0 pitch and it will over speed the head
that's my theory then nex minit skid touch hahahahahaha hello crash

You have to load the head as much as you can, spiral dive works best. At the last minute hit either 0 or full pitch and heat it roar.

You're talking about popping it at the last second before you hit the ground?

I know when you have your collective at zero it gains its most headspeed quicker..... I dont think I know what you all are talking about lol

All I know is when you get that pop stop its cause you gave it opposite pitch of what you were traveling after you get it at 0 collective

      @Jeff B Whats a spiral dive?

Good points everyone...I want to nail this one and make the heli explode if possible (without hitting the ground) But when you say zero pitch, is it trully zero pitch or slightly feathered in the direction of travel - like an auto for example? It seems when i feather too much it does nothing...

They are talking about an auto and using the physics of the disc to get the headspeed to a crazy RPM, like a 700 ize from 2100 with the motor on to 2500 in the auto, then using that speed near the ground to do impressive tricks and get the girls

      That's for @smakmeharder

Exactly what I want to do with my minip @simon! Then i will do on the gobby once i figure it out.... Looking at it logically if you were doing a loop, you would apply slight negative pitch during the last 2/3s but at the moment i must be doing something wrong cause my headspeed doesnt increase like in the video, it only increases a tiny bit. Pussy overspeeds.... It has to be as good as in the vids or not at all! Thanks for the vids by the way!

So, you can get your headspeed past the max of the motors maximum output with an auto????

Freaking awesome--- it Would get the girls man

You could take Me out on a date after that :p

No wonder I see these insane inverted autos with a little aileron tic toc just before landing..... CRAZY!

I'm pretty sure you can over-speed a big one till it structurally fails.
this is a good auto vid, not huge overspeed but serious skills, pick you up at 8:00

If i had the skills to blow a heli apart due to overspeed both myself and @Crash Heligod would be content! Nice vid btw, bobby has some good auto skills for sure.....

Let's ask @3D Heligod for a tutorial on over speeds, I'm sure next time we fly together you will be all over it on the mini p, and the tail will be going nuts at 18k

I got taught how to overspeed last weekend, here is how I did it. Pull in to a large loop, in the last 1/4 of the loop (when you are coming back to level) give it full negative pitch, when you are nearly at the bottom with a heap of forward speed lift the nose high and you will have a massive overspeed (at least I did) A bit like doing an auto with full power.

I just tried it on the sim.....not so good (start your loop really high), ask @Jeff B or @Dale Worthington , they are ones that can explain it
