Be aware when making orders for hobico brands - just incase. Hobico have many brands including futaba. With over 850 employees its a sad day for the Hobby RC industry. In all probability there will be a buyer and they are continuing to operate through the transition.

Thinking about it @helitone - someone would HAVE to buy them out. Surely there is a still a market for RC stuff?

I feel there will be a buyer for sure. Even though the hobby is in decline all around, there will allways be a perpetuating market for propeller heads (pardon the pun). Helis - and RC in general - replicates real world physics very well. And in know that things like VR/drones etc have changed the landscape quite a bit but there is still what i believe is an attraction to a particular type of personality that exists in a small percentage of the population - a niche if you like.
