I couldn't disagree more. My 630 is one of my favorite flyers. I've had it since the 630 was introduced - still a bone stock kit the only thing I ever changed was to install the KDE skid supports. It's the opposite end of the spectrum from my TDR, but mine flies beautifully. Yeah it's heavy and requires more headspeed, but it's a thoroughbred 3d machine. With the Scorpion 4225-610 and Helijive 120 gov it doesn't bog at all with 13.5°, the tail holds like a champ, and it just sounds incredible. I guess people just like to pick on the fat kid lol It pretty much has the presence of a 700 in the air with super-fast agility from the shorter blades. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
FWIW there was a guy on helifreak that tried a number of different motors before he landed on the 4225-610 and he went from getting ready to sell it to being his favorite heli. I think it's all in the setup... and of course personal preferance. If you're looking for a light weight low headspeed slow-mo machine... no, this isn't it. If you like ballistic then you may love it. I know I do. And if you want to be a hater that's fine, too. I just wanted to put my 2c in the hat.

 

All my personal preference mate I just never clicked with the 630C and had a constant elevator bounce that nothing fixed it made my brain itchy had to move it on.

That they do! The original 630 color scheme is one of the brightest and easiest to see in any condition.
