      I`ve seen this all over facebook since it happened. I know the pilot, and he is a good pilot. He just made a bad decision after the tail hit the ground. I`m just thankful that the outcome was not much worse than it was. I`m pretty sure you will see nets in the 2017 IRCHA photo galleries though.

      I think the pilot did well to hit throttle hold early. Very easy to freeze in such a high stress arena and things happen very fast after a tail strike... If the pilot did not hit throttle hold it would have been very ugly no doubt.

      Other than TH he did nothing to save it. Must have forgot he had people behind him. Silly boy.
