Universal Ball Link Pliers (4.75mm to 6mm Ball Links).

KDE Direct collaborates with FBL Rotors to create ball link pliers. Using the highest quality materials and CNC machining, they have produced a tool that is the only pair of ball-link pliers you should ever need for your hobby addiction. Designed with the FBL system in mind, the replaceable straight jaws made from Bronze 954 and 303 Stainless steel allows you to be confident gripping down on those stubborn links.

    Features

    • Compatible with 5.0mm up to 6.0mm ball links for wide-brand usage.
    • Bronze 954 and Stainless Steel 303 jaws are replaceable and prevent scratching the control ball links during installation and removal common with RC Helicopters.
    • Carbide cutters pre-installed for easy cutting of zip-ties and other needs.
    • Protective case for travel protection.
    • Smooth and ergonomic pliers with an internal spring rebound.

Keep in mind that ball link pliers have multiple roles so you can clip those zip-ties on the fly, you can also get a good grip on a zip-tie with these! Its easy to jump online and pick out any old set of ball link pliers, but its another thing to say this will be the last set of BLP I will have to buy.

I have a set too. Best ball link pliers I have used so far. One thing I have noticed about them though, is the pivot screw comes loose after a few uses. Not that this is a huge problem, as a small dot of blue thread lock cures the issue.

Are they as good as they say, I don't mind paying for decent tools if they work well,
I have 2 or 3 cheap sets but they struggle a bit on the larger links and seem to do more damage than good.

I had one of the ones made by EXI, and they worked well for a few years. I still keep a set of the cheapies in the tool box as loaners when I`m at events.
