I picked the Oxy apart to see what weared out and to clean and grease this little machine. It was really dirty. Some bearings are at the end of their lifetime, so I had to order some parts. The stretch kit is ordered as well with the 285mm Zeal blades. This will be fun!

I received three different skids and had to check the weights. My Oxy should be as light as possible. Im still not shure if I should go with DFC or not but ordered the DFC arms. Parts are cheap. Maybe DFC is better for high rpm.

 

Nice work @iggy, I just would have thrown a battery on it and flown it.

I know what you mean man. But I like to restore things.. The Oxy was so dirty and looked really just flown without any inspections. Thats not my way to enjoy this hobby. This helis are beautiful pieces of ingenieering and I like to keep them clean and in top condition. As soon as I notice some wear it has to be fixed. For safety and psyhological reasons. Crashing without any doubt is the most annoying thing in this hobby. On the other hand its still cold here. And the G570 is allways ready for a ride.

 

I cant tell you anything till I fly it but what I like on the Oxy is the Goblin like mechanics. Main rotor assembly with swash, the complete tailbox, tail rotor, pitch slider and even that tuning carbon landing gear - its so Goblin. I just needed something small to throw around without fear to hurt myself.

 

Man I love this RC shop here im Switzerland. Ordered yesterday, the postman woke me up a few minutes ago. Thats how it should go for spare support! Best prices best support. Lets streeeeetch the Oxy an Inch hahaha!!

Maintenenace and strech are done. I like the new size much more! Now its like new. Just needs a Brain and a Spektrum sat. Am I safe with just one satellite for this Size of helicopter??

Damn!! no wonder Swisz was just voted the happiest country in the world <envy,envy>.. Congrats on the nice buy, the Oxy looks to be one sexy heli..nice lines and no frills. Love the supportless boom, very Mostro look and gotta love the stance.

 

Thanks mate. It IS a sexy little machine. Im very happy to finally have it. Switzerland is a beautiful and very well working country. You know where the best watches are coming from. But most of us are not rich and we have to work hard for a qualitiy life here. But we can work. Thanks god.

Cant wait to get the oxy up and try out some stuff. As I have seen on youtube its pretty quick but with the strech kit seems to be stable as well. Spring is coming. New season starts. Got to nail those piroflips soon!

One reciever is HEAPS @iggy. I only use one sat for my gobby 380! Keep this pocket rocket light because these things move very fast and are alot of fun.

 

@iggy just wondering whats ur AUW for this heli, I guess u'd be on 6s?

 

Hey man I got some swaytronic 60C/120c 1600mah 4S packs. 6S is just made vor Tareq .

AUW will be 770g.

 

Ha!! Caught an almost new MSH Brain Unit on ricardo (something like ebay). My Oxy will be ready soon..

 

If youre patient you get almost new stuff for good prices! My Oxy got a Brain LoL!
