    New update released today. http://www.cgm-online.de/rc-heli-simulator/_download.html

I am now leaning toward this sim as my favored sim. So this is now my current opinion on the following sims

    Current Sim Ratings

neXt Currently my best because of simplicity, value and feel.

Accurc Probably the most accurate but their are currently not enough features as was promised. Heli feels good however.

RealFlight 6.5 Still feels good once you adjust the heli, graphics great.

Pheonix: Much improved since the update though stock settings are way to sensitive. Its not as realistic as the sims above.

Ok their is not alot separating the above. Buy all 4 if you can!!

OK the NEW UPDATE contains a THREE BLADED head on a goblin. Now I can tell you that it feels VERY DIFFERENT to a normal 2 bladed heli. Will you like it? It depends on your style. I loved it....lots of flip and rolls and smak. It also moves through the air differently. IE the helicopter accelerates in a rainbow quicker but does not follow through and keep accelerating. Hard to explain. Also it HANGS so much better and flips and rolls are awesome.... Still playing, i might post a video of the differences....

I'm really diggin' this sim. With it coming with two licences I have one on the laptop at home and one at work. All I need to do now is figure out how to convince the boss that simming at work is productive for them. Anyone have any advice on that?? :p

Been flying neXt for some time. Great sim. Are you guys flying the models stock or changing settings? I'd be interested in someone's view of what changes to a setting yield in terms of feel/flight characteristics?

At the moment I just use the setting one less from the most extreme. Linear throttle. I cant remember the label and at the moment i cant find the manual...lol. I just use the real flight transmitter. It feels pretty good on all helis on that setting. This is one simulator where the settings feel pretty good out of the box. I will get back to you regarding flight settings. Its fun to turn the crash damage down so you can do blade scrapes.... and the camp fire is a bit of a novelty but fun. Yes its a pretty good sim i rekon... I think everyone should buy a couple of sims. It seems that when they bring out upgrades the sims keep getting better and with exception of real flight, its almost like getting new sims all the time..

OK the setting I use is HARD (duh) that gives me the best feel out of the box. I fly different helis depending on my mood. The 380 feels ok. The three bladed head feels awesome.

OWWW daym.... I just threw this together - no slo mo in my world - Nothing special just talking about the difference between the two.

In a nutshell? Much greater cyclic authority. Much greater hang time - fast piro-flips not the same..... ie dude to the extra blade it tends to shoot off more so there needs to be adjustments made there. Tick tocks require less lean..... I like it very much.

Lol... Yes i love to fly on the sim and for real. The problem is nowdays work is so busy i dont get much time for either....Flying helis is such an adrenalin rush. I love adrenalin because it makes you feel so alive... that shaky feeling is just awesome...

feels very quick around the cyclic and more hang time like you said, fun to blast with,
but at my skill level I'll stick mostly with the Logo 700 at a lower head speed, flies very smooth

Loving next at the moment but the constant meed to re-download it entirely each time a new update comes out is annoying me, I would much prefer it to be a rolling update like phoenix... Does anyone know who I would contact to give them some feedback on this and some physics issues?

Shame they don't have 500 trexs in there

I tried next but so far prefer realflight 7.5. Next modelling appears a bit too simplified. Don't seem to have the same controlled randomness in next associated with slight winds, gusts causing heli to Bob up down naturally. Realflight feels more realistic to me,. Perhaps it's a setting thing
