Removal Of Hex Screw With Torx

    From time to time we succede to damage head of hex screw.

    I removed such screw with torx:

    First use strong iron to heat up screw and weaken threadlock.

    Use small hammer to place torx in damaged hex head.

    Unscrew...

    I hope this will help.

    I learned about screw extractors but they are usefull for bigger screws.

    Another solution:


    You can try also use drill if it can rotate counter clockwise.

      Ah yes.... I have to use that trick occasionally in my automotive work.
