He is lovely, we had a half english bully and 1/2 red cattle dog, biggest, most stubborn personality ever. Full stop. I do believe that these were breed to look after children - They pull his ears, poke him in the eye and they just turn around an think "he loves me"
      Nice dog Smacky

Very big personality no doubt! and your right, it takes a hell of a lot to make them snap. A clown in a fur suit is how I see Sarge...lol. He became Australian Champ in March this year - before he was 12 months old! Not that I am into dog shows (it eats important heli time and some strange personalities out there ) but it is good for the dog. Thanks @simon!

No, he`s an inside dog, and only goes out when we are with him. I`m sure he would though, if we gave him the chance.

That was @smakmeharder 's English bull terrier, they are, as Smaky says a clown in a dog suit. Beautiful breed. I thought you were talking about @3dmick 's Russell, he has got mischief in it's eyes...

Awww thanks @simon , he is a very spoilt boy. But wow does he eat alot... I feed him 1/2 kilo of raw chicken (wings or legs) per day minimum. The rest is rice, vegies and pasta...and tiny bit of dry. He is very friendly and energetic at the moment. I also have another white fluffy (chinese crested) and another female english bull terrier too. They all get along well...

Satan looks to be full of personality! lots of mischeif in those eyes!

Here is my heli dog... He loves chasing my nano cpx.. This is how I exercise him...
I have been through a few canopies and mainframes. He used to destroy it when he caught it.
Nowadays he just stands guard over his catch.

@simon, yeah from my perspective I agree. Dog gets to run and exercise, I get to thumb and exercise the muscle memory. However from my wife's perspective the kind of exercise she wants me involved with is actually walking the dog, not working the thumbs :)

@smakmeharder, in the early days he did maul it, in fact really wrecked the first one. He has responded well to training. If it's stationary on the ground he looks at it in eager anticipation. If I take off from the ground he will take it out before I get airborne, usually at spool up. So I have taken to hand launches. Easy to do with a nano. As for inflight takedowns, he used to be very aggressive, after so training he now treats it like my hand in a play fight. He will take a nip at it which is generally enough to take it out of the air, I hit throttle hold, and usually a soft bite that does do too much damage. It depends on how tired he is and how where he catches it. It's generally from underneath so the skids and canopy cop it first. The fact that he doesn't destroy it anymore is great. Occasionally I have to remind him to nip and not chomp. He's pretty good but the nano canopies are fairly light plastic and a few teeth can still damage them even if the bite is not overly aggressive.
All in all great fun, good skill practice for me as I attempt to keep it just out of his reach.
