    Hi everyone. Just a general question regarding the heligods forum layout. At the moment we have all recent posts in ANY thread located on the left of the forum and the center section has the for sale items listed. Would you prefer this current layout (as it allways has been) or would you prefer the forum contents listed in the center section (as shown at http://www.heligods.com/forums )

      I like it how it is. But since we are talking about HG website, sometimes my system struggles to open up the website. Not having that issue now. Is HG getting attacked or having server upgrades??

      Hi @maingeer. we have no reported issues... but your reporting an improvement now? We have upgraded some modules just today..

      Just as an experiment we are going to run the entire forum in the center section. So when you scroll with a mobile it will look very facebook like. It used to just be the forsale section but now it will apply to the entire forum. Lets see how it goes. The forsale section will appear down the bottom of the page...

      For a moment, I thought my phone was acting up till I saw this thread. The new layout does seem to work better on mobile at the moment. It really makes no difference to me as long as I can still navigate to where I need to go.

      I was having problems getting past the home screen (mobile) for awhile myself. It does seem a bit faster.

      Yes... the old code was very resource hungry. It should be a bit better now. We could always make it look like other forums but personally that's not what I would like. I like to think of this platform as a 1/2way point between facebook and traditional forums.

      Note that now you can also integrate Facebook comments as well (see the facebook button above). So the site layout is the same with the exception that all new threads are in the center as well as sales.

      While you're at it, give Crash Heligod the axe (pun intended). He's been busy elsewhere.... Pushing up daisies or larking about the lingere shops or whatever the h€ll he does in his spare time.

      Yes @Beaver thank you for the suggestion to upgrade my scythe! But I somehow don't think it will be quite as effective. And regarding the lingerie, I think my attire is quite suitable for the mood that my presence creates. So I thank @Geena for her concern but the colors she choose does not really suit my cape.

      And as for the site layout.... I Hate it! It's absolutely shiz. Every section should be filled images of crashed helicopters. I don't know what the heligods were thinking.... And what's this "facebook" stuff? How do i use it? I don't have a "face" I only have a skull!

      I have always found it annoying in the 'helicopter support' section with the size of the heli listed first, then you have to go in and choose the brand of heli.....

      This maybe just me but i prefer to go into just the Brand....much quicker and easier!

      eg
      RC Helicopter Support

      Align
      Beam
      Blade
      Compass
      etc
      etc

      Axe: Used as a verb- 2. Informal To remove ruthlessly or suddenly. (or on the case of Crash, as ruthlessly as possible.)
