image.jpeg Something new is coming in a few days..!! :)

I just bought this 6S Gob yesterday. Its like new, just a few easy flights on it. The Xnova motor has been used for two hours in an other bird. Bk 7001/7006, Kontronik Jive 100A+ LV with BEC, Optipower 450 mah backup supply.

I ordered a msh brain for this one. Want to try it out. And of course the prog interface for the kontronik esc.

My Aligns will be sold soon. I will miss the 700 cuz its customized but when you have play everywhere after 40 flights there is no reason to go on with that company anymore..

What do you think on my decision?

Nice heli for sure, they make great noises in a funnel, the boom acts like a megaphone - a real presence in the air. Certainly a step up from align. When you feel you need more, just go to a 12S - It's all good mate. Love what you fly, fly what you love.

One more thing, there's a few guys that fly them here (like @3dmick) now he's red hot with lots of experience. Personally I'd be changing the blades and keep the SABs as spares. but ask mick what he suggests (because I'm a n00b). You'll then be able to wring every ounce of performance out of that little beauty. Maybe even ask @3dmick to post a video of one of his flights on his? (go on mick, I'll bring you a can of bourbon and coke to the next funfly if I make it, and it will be cold)

@iggy i think you will be very happy. Mick runs 12S and it is an ANIMAL! You can torture that heli. The only upgrade i would suggest is a lynx maingear (if you run 12S that is) because the only issue i have seen is a stripped gear (from @3dmick). He also uses a steel bolt in the boom to attach the boom to the body. The advantage of this is that the steel will never break in extreme manouvers and we suspect that the plastic break away bolt may have been responsible for some boom strikes in the past - this is only theory however. The steel bolt means that in a crash the boom will more likely break BUT at least it wont be the cause of the crash.

From my observation of your flying, crashing is not a major issue. So i allways go for quality over crashability.

      Yes everything @smakmeharder said
The Lynx main gear is a must have
And I would keep an eye on the plastic bolts
I run metal bolts in all my goblins
      The 570 is a beast on 12s 2600 rpm
      It's awesome

Thanks to everybody. Nice to read guys!

I will do some flights with it this winter but just easy 3d. Next year I can keep an eye on that issues you mentoined @3dmick & @smakmeharder. So I hope the maingear isnt a problem on 6S.

And damn how hard do you have to fly that the tail breaks away in the air because of the nylon bolt?? LoL!! :D

What blades are best for it @3dmick ? I like the sab blackline design. But anyway, asking for performance of course!

hi mate the sab 3d 570mm blackline are good blades the standard ones that first came out where to soft you could bend them down and touch the boom
with out to much force ie boomstrike
yes I have had the nylon bolts break in flight so now I use one metal bolt in all my helis

He flies pretty darn hard... Hopefully we'll have a video after the weekend. The only reason I suggested @iggy look at blades is that I was going of my experiences with the V1 blades on a G700, I much prefer the rails over those (side by side flights), but I'm sure SAB have done a lot with their blades in R&D since then

Oh thats not good to hear about the old blades. Ill get some blackline blades for next season.

Do I see there wood in that broken boom?? You are crazy @3dmick! Show some videos.

Is that steel bolt an optional part or did you just put in something that fits on your own?
