I know someone who uses the scorpion battery packs and they rated them as an average battery, ie not outstanding but not cheap either. This pilot however was a world champion 3d Masters contender so he has used quite a few batteries.

Sorry dude, reading from a mobile - my error....However I have used a scorpion 4cell esc before and it was a great ESC. It is shown here http://www.amain.com/Scorpion-Commander-V3-60-Amp-4-Cell-ESC-w-SBEC/p207607 I Can t vouch for the 6cell though but if comparable, I found this esc to easily accommodate a hard style flying.

 

No worries, thanks for the great info! I'm using a scorpion 130 and really like it. I just wondered if the 50 would fit in the x3. Thinking long range, might get the x3 and in the future keep the electronics I get for this build and use them for a chase or Goblin 380.
