What was the worst helicopter you ever brought? Letting other people know might help them from making the same mistake. My worst heli was a blade 400, flybar version.

I have two to add to this list. The first one, was the Dynam E-Razor 450 from Xheli. It flew okay, but I had to switch to a different transmitter ( Futaba 6EX) to make it fly. Because the stock transmitter which came with it, stopped working after a few flights. It had no power whatsoever, and it had an insatiable hunger for pinion gears. If you did not change the pinion after every 5th flight, the 6th flight would take out the main gear. Plus the head dampers were way too soft, and had to be changed often.

The second, is the Blade 130X. I have a love/hate relationship with that helicopter. When it`s acting right, it`s a lot of fun to fly. But most of the time, it has a vicious tail wag, and the whole helicopter at times will wobble like a drunken hooker. I have tried every possible tip and trick...not to mention the costly "upgrades" to make it fly, but to no avail. So....it just sits on top of my desk now as a very expensive paper weight.

For me it was one I was given to get flying a SJM 450..that had to be the worst and most dangerous heli available.

It would have to be tge Walkera 4 , fixed pitch . Because that's the bastard that got me hooked on helis , so 13 helis and many thousands of dollars later it's also the best.

It wasn't the rigid head that the issue was. . It was the fact that the blade grips are attached in a manner that is not safe or even logical.

Not counting the shiz we all buy in the beginning, mall/ cheap hobby store stuff, the heli I had the hardest time keeping in the air was the TRex 250... Me and a buddy had the first kits in town, and we did have a blast with them, but they just plain wore out so fast! this was back in 2009? still had the FB head, and they got sloppy sitting on the flight bench...

My first helicopter was a Blue Ray 450. The heli wasn't that bad other than being severely underpowered, but it sure did take me awhile to learn how to set it up. Had some fun crashes with it. The head was a POS though, and the tail was not much better.

Ok I will give it a shot. I will add the 130x. I really don't think there is anything wrong with the tail. I really think the tail whacking out is a built in fail in the electronics. For years Blade has known they make most money off of the aftermarket sales. So why not install a program that just makes the tail spin around every so often.

LOL Adolf, you are one funny dude! and yes @Micah Hills i believe you are right. I feel the same about the mcpx bl. The tail motor connections are so fragile its almost as if it has been done that way on purpose! Also the caonopies are shiz and the landing gear allways breaks. use some aftermarket parts and hard solder the tail and its a great heli

hmm we got a Blade SR for my son to use for learning to fly, it unfortunately didn't live up to the hype of being a good trainer.

I must be one of the lucky ones as I have never had a heli that didn't do what it was supposed to do.
