      Nothing is entirely safe ... my mate was in the army . Coms his job was to crack similar vpn's etc .. has some nasty *nix tools written

      Yep... but you need some serious compute time and energy to crack it. Most of these are targeted at the idiots who see public wifi and go nuts... why try hard when you can get the easy fruit.

      and to me honest, most of these will have DNS servers that re-direct stuff to fake pages.. ie gmail/banks/facebook to a page they wrote.. you go to long in.. bam got your details...
