So I wonder if you have a preference for heli size and why. I like big helis for adrenalin and small helis because i can throw it around without worrying about destroying much. So I would say I fly my 450 minip more than any other helicopter because i get pretty good power without having to spend a fortune. So for me my favorite TRAINER heli is a 450.

    So how about you?

It's a hard call... I like the 450 as it's a low cash cost... but I find myself more and more drifting to the larger helis... I love my 700 but I also am enjoying the hell out of the 570. Is it just because it's new? I don't know.. the 570 has the presence of a 700 is more nimble but doesn't have the hang time...

      It's a hard call....

Hard to choose between a 700 electric and 600 electric for power , not forgetting my 600 nitro for flight time plus that smell .:D

700, perfect balance of agility and hang time. The 800s loose the agility and the 600s don't hang as well.

They're going to be a good compromise between 700 and 800

Agility of a 700 with the power, pop and hangtime of a 800

At the moment it's my 500. I really like my 700 but my 500 has more power so it's still my favorite.

I like to try new stuff on my 450's and to throw then around much more than any heli...
I like 700's as they have awesome presence in the air and are quite stable.

However, my fav size to fly atm is the 550 (gaui X5, goblin 500, and NX4) as the size between a 500 and 600 is a great compromise...

I suspect over time my 700 will become my favorite heli. Perhaps after I upgrade the motor. However I often think about selling my 500 and getting a 550X. I just don't want to buy another helicopter!

I love my Trex 550. It is a large heli, but it flies amazing on one 6s 5000mAh 50c. I got my confidence from my 130x, but I cut my teeth with my 550. I have more time on my 550 than I do the SIM. She is my go-to girl. That sure thing booty-call that you know is going to answer the phone and invite you over for some fun. I have every size of trex, except the 150 and 800, many Of then more than one. But my 550 just flat does it for me

I like the 600 size myself. plenty big enough, plenty of power with the right engine, and lower crash cost than a 700.

My favourite is Gartt GT700 DFC stretched to 800. I use 780-810mm blades. It has over 30% bigger rotor surface area than with 700mm blades. It became very quiet, it is quite fast at 164km/h measured with GPS, can fly at relatively low RPM, is very stable and has much lower disc load than 700.

I motor 4.2kW designed for 700 so I do not fly it very hard. For hard flying Ihave 450PRO and Gaui X5.

I will not build bigger heli than 800 because lipos become to expensive.

I fly also 600 and 700 but 800 is my fovourite.
