Have a couple of MS composite sets, also have their 395s and 420s to try. looks like MS dont do the 385s now.
SAB have had 385s for ever too. They may have some 380s soon also?

 

Its crazy good. Its cheaper than the KDS combo with the scorpion! could buy the HW 50a platinum V3 and have change left over. Not that there is anything wrong with the scorp motors. But when given the choice

He also sourced a hobbywing platinum 50 V3 as well -

@Glen - I see Hunter is providing the "Kylin 50A ESC" in his combo... and on the KDS facebook page it has an esc that looks exactally like a rebadged hobbywing with "Chase esc" written on it..

So is the Kylin 50A ESC a rebadged hobbywing 50A platinum ? as Hunter has no pics of that esc to check..

Im not sure if its actually a Kylin, or if the kylin was not ready and they went with HW instead.
But one thing is forsure, all combos with the Chase ESC are the hobbywing platinum 50 V3.
From the reviews i have read Its what id be picking for my little helis anway. Just wish they made a 12s version that could phase faster.

Where can I find that $40 KDS motor you all were talking about?

It hardly seems to struggle at all at the low head speed! amazing helicopter!

 

What BEC would you all recommend to use when using the HV servos with this chase 360?
