Well tomorrow is the big day. From all accounts we should be able to build the thing in a couple of hours!... thats if my speedy arrives.. So at 10:59 am I should have a new heli! But i only have one PACK... lol... such is life...

That fascist PIG @Crash Heligod has kept me out of the hobby for awhile now.. Time to fight back, i'm also getting a Goblin 380 and getting back into things after a long break .. I would like to know what you think of it @smakmeharder

 

It depends on how experienced you are @Adolf.... If you crash alot, then it will cost you alot if you own a goblin... parts are not that cheap. But they are dead easy to fix and if you know your orientations you will have one sweet heli that will take you from beginner all the way to advanced. So how advanced is your flying?

 

@smakmeharder , I know all my orientations for sure, big air sport .. I am an old dick tator ! So no smack for me.. i dont really crash much anymore, thats what the blade 400 was for .. but it's been a good 5 months so i'll have to fire up the oven , opps sim, yer i mean Sim... Befoure i get back on the sticks.

I just changed some esc settings on mine did the nick Maxwell gov trick so I hope I get the rpm up to 4000 now that would be sick
we will have to tack the head speeds on the 3 380s next weekend should be fun

yes will be interesting to see @3dmick and @simon.... my money is on @the dudes heli - just because of the speedy...and oh i forgot - the talent of @The Dude also has something to do with it.

Get this @simon. With help from the dude, we built the goblin 380 in 4.5 hours. That included pulling stuff out of my minip as well. Sure we had one issue. But that was resolved - it was assembly error. I will put up the build thread shortly. we were cruising as well - ie drinking coffee and stopping occasionally to watch Tony. @The Dude had to dissapear fro an hour as well. So i rekon about 6.5 man hours -- complete. Servos, soldering and building. Howzat?

 

Nice work, time well spent. Now it becomes stretching the time out to enjoy the build for longer.. I have thought about this climbout comp, and I think @3dmick needs to set up a bank with 19 degrees of positive pitch for the day, but don't tell @The Dude , his heli really looks like it can walk the walk, very sweet - he has enough of an advantage already. Of course going to 7S could help as well, make that xnova earn it's high price tag.
