    Hi All,

I have heard many differing opinions on wether you should use the rubber grommets when mounting servos on Electric Heli's. Some people say yes and others no.
I can see the need for them on a Nitro or Gasser Heli due to the vibration.
The reason I ask is that I did not use them on my Logo 550SX. But I am now having second thoughts.

So What are Your Thoughts on their use?

    Thanks

i use them because the brass spacer make the mounting screws fit better. on most servos if you dont have the brass ting the screw can slide out of the slot thing in the servo.

Nope don't use them... you can get some spacers to mount in them. Seems they are used in cars all the time...

Nope, I found spacer sets to sandwich between the servo and the frame if I need to move the spline around.

Thanks Guys, I am going to give them a try. Looking closer at the Logo manual it does show them fitted.

      Cheers.

Fit them man they also alow a tiny little bit of flex just enough to not snap the mount ears off the servo

I don`t use the rubber grommets either. I do use the spacer sets which William posted above though, if I need to move the servo out a bit.
