    Mines pretty supportive.. Always making sure i have enough time at the field and so on , and sitting with me while i do setup's and repairs..

    Of course i think most of it is a pretend interest, After all i pretend to take an interest in baking .. fair's fair i guess.. Man.... I tell ya .. In theory i know everything about baking, lol

    Whats your experience ?

      Not too much my other half can say considering she started this addiction five years ago by buying me a cheap copter as a gift. Actually she is still supportive because she sees the enjoyment I get from the hobby. Once I caught a bit of flack because I spent more than she thought. ....once in five years, I cant complain!

      If my son was typically developing, and he was interested in the hobby.. my misses would be over joyed, as we would be out of here all weekend.. but since he's not and he's not... it means she has to deal with him... which is letting him play the PC apparently...

      My wife has always maintained I have a hobby. She did draw the line at scuba and rc as it meant I was away flying on Saturday and diving on Sunday. I always discuss my rc plans with her. In fact she told me to get the new Sylphide (approx $3k's worth). Her philosophy is this;
      As long as we are warm, dry, fed and all the bills are paid, I can use cash left over for heli's.
