Looks like Hobby King have a new performance line of batteries. This time they claim that an extra 0.o5 volt will make the difference between a top standard battery vs the others. What do you think? I think if it looks like bull and it smells like bull........

Any decent charger will have the abilty to set final cell voltages . So who's going to be a guinea pig .

I was looking at the 4010 duo, is it true they can parallel charge and balance each pack individually? I often parallel charge, I know its not good for the pack using a standard parallel board but i read some where the 4010 has the ability to parallel charge and multiplex/balance the packs as well.

I don't know, I know it balances well when I parallel charge. I normally charge two packs (or one stick) per channel at 15 amps (1.25c) for 5 mAH packs
Here's a pics of the three main tabs

Very very nice...so is that 4 batteries per station? Giving you a total of 8 charging slots?

That's it, you can charge 8, but that would max out my PSU, (1200w @ 24v),. The charging boards also daisy chain up, so for my chase, I'll be charging 8 packs at a time (on one side). I also have TP boards as well. I really like this charger. I will put a case together soon (starting next week I think), and this will be able to drive the unit at 2000w, or max out my honda genny 2KVA (rated output 1600w). Should be the bomb for summer. It's good becuase you can charge flight packs on one channel (XH), and your receiver packs on the other (TP)

This IS the charging unit I want... Exactly the right sort of features and also the plug board is fused! Nice. Have you ever blown a fuse?

Never, and they have automatic reset fuses too. Check this. When I get the case together, I'll do a vid of it charging (or better yet, come up to our field and you can fly and charge yourself to give it a field test
