    Thats right! Heligods are holding an End Of Year FUNFLY! There will be Vendors, food, and lots of funfly to be had for everyone! Keep this date free as we celebrate 2014 and smak some heli butt!

    There will be a pilots draw which costs $10.00 to enter and qualifies you to fly. The pilots draw will be a random draw and consist of prizes provided by vendors which will soon be announced. So come on down and join in the fun!

    We cant wait to see you down there.

    Gates open from 10am to 4pm ish...

      if you want to fly unassisted you need bronze wings, if not you need a qualified pilot to stand with you. There will be plenty around!

      Thanks for info, also, do I need to be a member of a club to fly? I'm new to the fun fly scene, but im excited to check it out.

      No you don't need to be a member, bring your family if you want, but there is a $10.00 entry to fly which also puts you in the raffle to win a prize!

      You will need to be a MAAA to fly at the field tho... if your a member of any other club you should already be...

      Yes as @Manyc states MAAA member is the per-requisite. This is the insurance all pilots must have to cover the club and themselves in the event of a heli related incident. Thanks @Manyc

      That is great news @lowely79. Joining a helicopter club is the best way to learn what the right equipment is, how to hover and see what can be done with these fantastic machines.
