Just wondering if there are certain industry types attracted to flying helicopters. IE do you find that IT people, Doctors or Engineers are attracted to flying helicopters?

Almost... Radio tech by trade, was on drill rigs for a while, now managing the engineering & business development parts of the business.
Most heli pilots are into motorbikes & fast cars too.

I work in the power industry building, augmenting and maintaining protection and control schemes in terminal, zone sub and switching stations. I've been involved in connecting a few wind farms to the grid in the last two or three years.

Imagine the charging capacity I could have if I could harness all of that energy!

How about making a big inductor with a couple of diodes and a cap a regulator and position it in the power room and charge your batteries for free!... lol
