Looking through the manual for the Mini P kit I notice that it calls for grease on some of the bearings. What's appropriate to use?

I use tri flow grease on the thrust bearings... tri flow oil on the main shaft and tail output shaft.. and since your running the stock kit.. scorpion motor oil for the motor.. also a lot of people use silicon spray on the belt...

Where do you get the triflow from?

I use thin air on the belt bearings! Silicone spray on the belt. I use lithium greases on the thrust bearings..Provided you don't run your belt too tight the belt bearings should last a while.

Hobby stores seem to be out of stock of Tri-flow synthetic for some reason, but I see that quite a few online bike stores sell it. Finish Line Teflon Grease also looks like a good fully synthetic too. Might have to see if any local bike stores have any in stock.

In looking at all this I came across this article which has some good information in it and may be of interest to others: http://forum.heliguy.com/lubrication-dos-donts-whats-and-whys-t35792.html
