      I flew for about 9 years as an obsession, hang gliders before that. It's a fun thing to do and the best place (by miles) to learn is Manilla PG (near Tamworth), it's rated as one of the top 10 places in the world to fly at. Many happy hours spent at cl;oud base there. In the video (just found it), shows inland at manilla, and the coastal site I use to fly (use to ditch work early and fly here - heaps of hours around that area). I think @feral is going o have a look at it too. It's fun, and with vaping, I won't have to butt my ciggy's on the carabiner connecting my harness to the risers. I've had a few years off flying and been doing heli's but this coming summer, I'll shake the dust of my trusty wing and give it a crack

      Thanks for sharing. I believe that paragliding is a little safer than hang gliders??
      Having a google around it looks like $1000.00 or so to get trained & licenced.

      probably closer to 2k, Manilla is 1950 and bright is 2020, I'd do it through manilla if I was you, have a look at his credentials, he's a great pilot, instructor and guy.

      I figured as much... you've been hiding out in your lair, getting your jollies over that big pile of shredded carbon fiber and twisted aluminum heli parts haven't you. That's all well and good. Take as much time as you need..... and then some.
