The heligod fly ins are great, and of course you can endorse them, you probably wouldn't be involved in them if they were shiz / no fun. THEY ROCK. But I do concur with my learned friend @smakmeharder the Wagga fly-ins are really good, it could also have something to do with 'getting away' from our mundane lives for the weekend and surrounding ourselves with seeing great pilots and everyone with a common interest. International pilots who are AMAZING are just the icing on a very delicious cake.

ps. When is the winter solstice fly in happening?

 

We are still going to have an event but probably push it to coincide with Kyle Stacy. Would have liked to have run the winter solstice but some personal things (like the missus having a heart attack and a few other things) have thrown a spanner in the works. So its going to continue but this year probably try to coordinate it with kyle Stacy. So I am just trying to get a few ideas to establish what makes memorable events..

 

For me, it was IRCHA 2013. It was my first IRCHA, and also my first time flying center stage in front of that many people. It was a pure rush.
