A friend of mine and I (Matt Cramer) did DIY night fliers on our OXY 3's.

Since pic's I also put led's on my tail fin.

Set up's are easy to convert back to day fliers.
Change landing gear and mains, cut zip-ties on tail fin and boom and put another canopy on.

I dont know anyone in Australia but @lynx have their own online shop as well. Perhaps @ZEN RC might be interested in these helis. I think he would be the biggest heli distributor in Australia now. www.zenrc.com.au

Hey cool @Richard Knapp thanks heaps. Their website looks a bit weird - stuff flying everywhere - could not navigate my way around it - looks wierd and diy - but yep they do stock them.

Probably tight for dollars @Johnnybgoode . Building proper websites takes time to do right, even for a pro and no doubt they would have spent lots of time putting in all that stuff. You can pay a developer to make a wix site look good but its functionality is locked to wix - so it will allways perform the same and the UX will be super clunky. Its more initial expense but its best to use the right framework and go from there - building websites takes multiple skill sets - even if you use wix. But the reason they offer free cheap framework from the start is so you load all your data and images into their site. Then you CANT move it anywhere. So what you pay for the site means nothing compared to your invested time. Very smart marketing.

Only opensource cms are truly transportable and completely configurable (ie wordpress, joomla) but require some web development knowledge.

Anyway the other two vendors stock them as well check out their sites.

I have allways loved smaller helis - but they must be A1 quality otherwise they end up being more trouble than the are worth. Oxy helis are an awesome small heli. I think they are the best small heli around.

Boy a night flier at the heligods comp would have been awesome...I was looking at the video and noticing disorientation was not an issue?

As long as you know the field. It is almost easier to LED night fly.
