Blade 700x, would you take the chance ? .. As EFlight have now bought out a 700 size heli would you take the chance on one, being that they are more know mainly for 500 size and under.. It's a big jump for them..

I have looked into them and i would not, simply as they don't seem very popular , but they looking over them they look like they have done a pretty fair job of it ..

I was very interested in getting one at one stage before they made the shelf but I spoke to OMP and they said that there has been no demand for them here is Aus. I think because Blade priced them at the higher end of the market that if you were going to spend that much on a 700 size bird there is a hole heap to choose from. I think most people put into this situation would choose a more reputable brand. It will be a long time to get the hard core Heli pilot to put there conference in a blade 700 Heli. I still like the look of it and would love to have a fly one.

If the used Goblin 700 deal wouldn't fallen in my lap I was going to buy a Blade 700x. I fly with a guy on occasion who I swear owns all the 700 models: Goblin, Blade, Logo, Align, KDS, Gaui. I asked him which one was best or he'd recommend. He said, "They're all good. Just put good electronics in it. I'd buy the cheapest one to crash which is the Blade or Align."

I've seen some of the Blade 550X. Those guys LOVE them.

      Retail price $2320 is rediculous.

"Sale price" $1,349.99 is not very attractive.

In Europe prices are much higher due to shipment costs and taxes.

I do not think it will be popular in Europe.

Anyway I like the looks and with good electronics it should fly well.

I assume Blade will offer higher discount after few months. It happened to mCP X, Nano CP X in the past...

Lets just wait for better price. : )

      I have a 700 x for about a year now.Its a great heli with a low parts count.
Never had an issue upto now.Mine came with the upgraded washers.

The only bit that stumb me was the missing bearing in the third block which the designers decided to take out.
Performs awesome with heaps of power.
      Any questions fire away.
