Bad news about rc aircrafts in the public again
A TV drone crashed just a split second behind a skier at the FIS world cup in Italy. Not to imagine what have happened if it had injured him.. You find a Video in the link bellow:

Lets discuss how drone crashes could cast a bad clould over our sport.
First I want to say that I dont like drones. The reason is that they are sold to everyone and those people dont mind that they dont have any rc flight experiences. They think ok - I can afford it and I got to do so. In most cases its right for sure, but the risk of incidents is higher than in our sport. Why? They just start flying in the neighborhood or at a local park, taking pictures or videos and thats again a violation of privacy.
We rc helicopter pilots, most of us, are respecting our aircrafts more! We use the sim to practice, flying in clubs or somewhere where is nobody because we know that it dangerous. Ok, a heli might be more dangerous than a drone but we know and we are not playing around.
That TV drone was probably flown by a experienced pilot, but in the end it crashed near somebody. There were fans all around the track and it wasnt a small one. It happened in public.
Could such incidendts lead ban of rc aircrafts in remote future? Will we have to get a flight license somewhen? What do you think?
