    Its a pretty cool concept, although not very practical for use in our hobby. I am thinking they are prototyping them for use on full scale helicopters for rough or uneven terrain landings.

      Looks like a low rider helicopter LoL :)

      Always remember that many innovations became smaler and more affordable over the years. This construction will be usefull for real helis but maybe there will be also a dampening solution for our hobby somewhen..

      The heli wit that landing gear looks so much like a mechanical dragon fly! I like the idea, i think its brilliant for full scale! Very clever...

      It is a great idea...if it works and is reliable. I do like the idea and design....but I would be concerned about failures which could possibly cause them to not pivot as expected. Then again, I`m sure they would be wise enough to put some sort of a manual deployment feature in place. Just in case of such emergencies.
