Richmond, VA USA – June 10, 2014 – Almost as soon as Random Heli launched their original range of RC Helicopter Skid Clamps, RC pilots started asking about Skid Clamps for SAB Goblin models. Now, following on the success of their Original Skid Clamps, Random Heli is shipping a new range of Skid Clamps for Goblins.

Goblin Skid clamps come in three sizes to fit SAB Goblin models from 500 to 770 and are available with either fluorescent red, fluorescent yellow, or black latches.

Random Heli Chief Pilot Ray Lepper says, “Because of their slanted carbon fiber skid plates, securing Goblin Helis for transport has been a real challenge—much more difficult than holding down helis with conventional ‘tube’ skids. But now, with the new Goblin Skid Clamps, it’s literally a snap.” Like the Original Skid Clamps, a strong, durable latch closes over the CF skid plate, locking it to the Clamp base and providing more than 25 lbs. of holding strength per clamp.

As SAB Heli Division has driven the popularity of C.F. skids, other manufacturers have followed suit and the new Goblin Skid Clamps work for many of those skids as well. In particular several of the Lynx Ultra CF skid models for Align helis work perfectly with the Goblin Clamps.

The randomheli.com web site provides useful resources for determining the correct Goblin Skid Clamp and mounting configuration for the entire range of SAB Goblin models as well as technical and performance specifications.
