This heli will make a blade 450 look inadequate.

I wonder if the folks at Blade are embarrassed for using the slogan "#1 By Design", after looking at the new KDS offering, bloody hell, I would be.

LOL, You know i wish you could all be prototype testers!

I should mention they also have the 3.6 size Agile coming out at the same time.. For those that havnt seen, here is some info on KDS and both of the Chase 360 and Agile 3.6

Hey u know we could make your wish come true! So is it true that it will stretch to 500 size?

I doubt anyone will offer a stretch kid for it due to lack of demand, But yes it should have no problems running 420 MS composite blades (fit the 8mm grip) I know 1 guy that will be running this on 12s with those blades, He stretched a warp to 473, Id recommend a longer mainshaft (and longer boom etc) to go with it to get the blades further from the boom if you want to smack with it.. Ill probably stretch one just to test it out. If a belt kit ever comes out for it, stretching would be super simple for anyone to do even without a stretch kit available.

      Ozzy flag sounds good :)
Soon squiggle soon! I hope, a few weeks after testing is finished id say. however long that will take.. Im working on some other bits to test out on it right now.
That canopy is a moded version of one i did, Its grown on me, but think it could be improved a lot.

      honest feedback guys!
whats your preference, the prototype canopy.

The blunt nose one unbalances the proportions I reckon. Either one of the other two with a couple of minor tweaks to the size of the "hump" where the motor goes would look good. Colour scheme will change it again of course.

      I like the proto one
Gotta have the motor hanging out the top of the canopy

how come in cad is has a HPS head but the real one has DFC?

    19. Glen

      Glen Active Member

I have designed both. market demands prefer HPS, and with good reason. but...

The head on the prototypes are different to anything else out there. If they continue to work as well as the are at the moment, there is no reason to go HPS. HPS will only add weight and expense with extra parts unnecessarily.

Anyone guess the secret this head is hiding?
