You might try a drop of oil in the bearings every five flights or so, as with your scorpion, it may help prolong the bearing life who knows
If it's any consolation mine did have grease on them not much but they had seen grease, the feathering shaft however had threadlock only on one...
The use of heat works well with the type of loctite gartt use. It's a real cheap type that either stays gummy and doesn't do the job or it jams up...
