They will work on 450, just larger diameter rods. Ball ends are same size but stronger. The original ones were getting sloppy from being stretched after three crashes. My servos will hate me for it next time I crash though.

The links are ready. I was mistaken earlier.... the M2 rods are for a T-rex 600. I'm not sure what model the ends were for, but they fit. :D IMG_20160228_244516979_HDR.jpg IMG_20160227_231511090.jpg

looks good beaver, much more beefy.

Not sure if this is true, but apparently the ball wears out more than the links. I always thought it's the links???

Right.... I would think the plastic would wear before the metal. As far as I can tell, my balls are exactly as they should be. I had one of my balls get loose once, but........ uh........ Oops. That didn't sound right at all!

yeah not sure if it's true since it's metal. But I've seen people post pics of their metal TX sticks worn out. Who knows? Having said that I accidentally dropped my usb transmitter yesterday. I tried to fix it but no go. So I bought something different to replace it(around 20 usd). I will have to use my DX9 for sim use for now, until I get the replacement in the mail.

yeah I don't want to wear out the pots/sticks on my DX9, also I don't like the idea of charging the TX every so often, that's why i use those things. I just hope this new one is PnP like the older model that I dropped

Most likely it is. Those things probably all operate on the same type of PWM output.

What sort of damage is it that you are trying to repair?

Yeah I had a better look today, it seems the pots got pushed out of the hinge or clip. I cleaned and lubed spray inside the pots, I got those tips from the TX Doctor(Iggy) thread here. I'll test it later on and see how it goes.

No, I'm running back-up set. I'll order Align or Zeal blades this week.

Two flights in...... Good to go.
Adjusted VStabi tail settings a bit last night to correct moderate tail kick-out on hard pitch bumps-
Torque precomp up from 22 to 30 and acceleration from 55 to 40 (faster). Tail now locked in better than ever! Flights were stable enough in moderate wind, but didn't go up far enough to go inverted.
I really like the K-Bar now that I'm getting more familiar with some of the advanced settings. :D

How's the CW and CCW piros, any tail bounce on hard stops?

Haven't been able to give it a full run yet. It's a bit windy today, so I held back and stayed low. I was out to stop the near 90mm tail kick on hard collective (success). I'll get a good run on it sometime next day or so and see how it does.
