Today I couldnt let my Gobby lay around even if we have very strong winds and cold but sunny weather. Some fingerless glowes helped me a bit and I had to warm up my ass and lipo for every flight. :) LoL

After treating the belts with silicone spray they run a bit smoother. Im getting a feeling for the new heli very quick, looking forward to learn many tricks on this one as it flyes really great. It could be a bit bigger sometimes.. Maybe 630 or so.. ;)

3% more swash gain solved this as I have been on just 25%. Now its fine!

So the helicopter is flying good now? How does it feel in the air for you? The 570 is a beast

Its flying very nice man! :) I really got a feeling for it after 50 flights now. The power provided by 6S with xnova 1120kv and the kontronik governor is very good but the flight times are just between 3:00 and 3:40 minutes. Thats for 2100 and 2300 rpm on 13 deg pitch and depending on how hard I beat it trough the sky.. Very short flights.. Maybe I should go to 12S. The 570 really pulls some amps on 6S...

Yesterday I putted my G570 on a scale. Here are my results:

      3685 g fully loaded
      3435 g without canopy
2773 g without lipo with canopy

So I made two flights without the canopy and I can really feel a differce - the canopy is 250 g (!) - Thats much. There was more pop and even more precision without the hood. The heli was a bit louder but just better. Anyway, visibility decreased for sure.

Goblin canopys are pretty heavy compared to others. But they are more than half the airframe.

Thats a heavy bird. 200g is very noticeable on any heli, even a 700. With the visible boom you should be able to get away flying without the canopy.

12s should be the answer man :) I could imagine that for next year. But I got to kill my 6S packs first muahahaha!

80 flights done so far. Brain setup is still getting a bit better and I like it more and more with every flight! Its a sweet machine for practicing, good size, only the flight times suck. 3 minutes.. come on!! :D

I red somewhere that the flight times on 12s become better like +1 minute. But how is it with the power? Is a 12s 570 more powerfull on the same rpm? It should because its holding the rpm much better am I right?

The best thing about the Goblin is its durability! After 80 flights on an Align there was much of play in the bearings allready. Here is nothing! Everything like new. Thats what I like the most about this machine!

I was convinced when @smakmeharder passed the 500 flight mark on his machine without killing it.....and it sounds like he tried to kill it..... so that says alot.

The harder I fly this heli the more Im smiling! :D I should have bought it a long time ago..

The brain setup is perfect now. I had to go down with the "agility" parameter to get that digital feeling I have in the sim and I had with the BeastX allready. Now it feels how I need it. :)

The swash gain was way to high. Standard value is 39 for a 600 heli. But there was some oscillation in tic tocs. I could really see and hear it in ailron tic tocs. With a value of just 18 the behavior became very smooth in such hard tricks. Seems like the most people have to go down with this value to around 50% of the preset to get it nuts and to solve the fff problems as well.

Today I could hear a hard noise from the tail in a fast backward corner. For a second I thought something went wrong. After slowing down and coming back everything was normal. Maybe the tailgain is to high for this manuver..? I have to figure it out regarding to the smaller tail pulley it could be the case.

I increased my throttle curves to 2200 and 2400. The 570 really comes alive, goes fast and the acceleration is bad ass :) - and thats on 6s!

Thats it for today. 8 packs flown on 5 degrees temperature. Its allready getting dark in eastern Europe. The litteraly COOL thing is you can shoot one pack after an other and there are no mosqitos and flys sitting on yout neck while you are smacking that heli! :D

      Kind regards,

Yes the 570 is definitely one of those helis. And now you can experience the effect of a better design. It really does make a difference to the feel of the helicopter.

Today we had great weather. 12 degrees, no wind and I had to give a smack to my 570. Just some relaxed big air stuff, 2400 rpm. Enjoy

      Hi people

In the last days I have tried some low rpm on my 570. 1500 rpm in normal mode and 1800 rpm for 3D is low with this heli I guess.. But it flyes pretty good and after some flights I got a feeling for the pitch management. I can do funnels normal and inverted, "speedcircles" and some piro action. Even some rainbows can be done, but tic tocs? Nah, I can do some slow tic tocs but thats not funny. The flight time increased to 5:30 minutes with about 30% left in the packs. Thats nice! No tail problems at all, thanks to the smaller tail pulley!

I will fly it on lower rpm (1800/1900) for a time now because I realized that I can try out more stuff due to the increased flight time. On the other hand the heli isnt that aggressive anymore and I can increase the rpm from time to time. This gives me more confidence when flying instead of 2400 rpm for no reason! Thats a waist of energy on my skill level. Far more I have better overall controll and I can really feel how to do some overspeeds. Its fun!!

Low rpm flyig is a sweet story, never thought I will say this once.

      Kind regards,

Flying low head speed will help very much with corrective management. When doing tick tocks at low rpm i like to call them flip flops because of the delay during the transitioning. Thats another thing about helis. Change one little thing and every thing changes!
