Learn to Fly 3d RC Helicopters

Here is a heart wrenching question. If you had to only keep one helicopter (I know this would be torture for you @5Fidy ) which one would it be and why? For me I find it really hard to answer this but i would say my MiniP - Just because I can fly it in many more places and it is cheaper to run... But if i had lots of money and a flying field at my disposal, my Gobby 700.
Big deal you may say - BUT this could lead to a relaxation on the commercial use of drones in America, then maybe Australia and globally!Note that they have called a heli a drone?. Fair enough I suppose..

Hi guys

Pics of my current scale models.

First one is a Funkey AS350 Squirrel. trex 600 mechs with a scale Starflex head and BeastX controller. Full lights including instruments. Just won the Pilot's Choice Award at the PARCS scale fun-fly held on the 18th May. Planning to build a 700 size version later in the year.

Second one is my just finished Smartmodel Alouette III. trex 600 mechs with 3 blade head and tail controlled by a AR7200BX. Painted in the colours of the Rhodesian AF circa 1972. Boxes on the engine are sand filters....

A Guide to Forum Etiquette

The purpose of this thread is to provide a reference point for generally acceptable forum behavior. It includes examples of both inappropriate behavior and appropriate behavior where necessary. None of this is official from heligods. I'm simply a user that has had a lot of forum experience, and all of this is pretty much just off the top of my head. It amazes me they way the admins are treated on this forum and what they put up with going by some of the posts. In fact I ran a forum many years ago and know all too well how much of a big task it is, not to...
With this hobby in order to excel, one must fly frequently. Its very hard to fly once a week and be good unless you are a real HeliGod! I find that if i can manage a fly first thing in the morning with my 450, it helps me feel good for the rest of the day. Its also different when you fly alone as well. I find you learn things quicker when you fly alone and I am not sure why. Its almost as if you really start to feel connected with the helicopter, no one is watching and you start to relax more.. What does everyone else do? Have you managed to find a way to slip a few packs in first...
i was considering buying a plank... what do i do :(
