Hello people of the superior forum. I bring to you news of a new direction for Compass and changes within the company. For the better!

This is really exciting news and I hope to see this plan succeed.

Taken directly from their facebook page "Compass (HK)":

    Dear Compass-Fans,
the Compass Team is back from IRCHA 2015. This year, we had to plan and regulate many things. That is why our focus was not in marketing this year, but in finding an orientation for the future.
Over the past 1.5 years we have faced many hurdles. A partial lack of spare parts in some countries has cost us many customers. Various persons had played a game with us and made the situation worst. Clarifying discussions and changes where necessary and they are still important.
Today we would like to tell you something about the great changes within Compass Model. The company Compass Model (HK) is led by Luke Lao. In some parts of the world, we were able to establish ourselves successfully in recent years. In some parts we were successful, but have lost some status. The RC-market has become more complex.
Since this summer the company MTTEC takes over many tasks of Compass Model. MTTEC is already supporting Compass since 2010 in many points. In the future MTTEC will operate as an investor and we will do the entire marketing, production planning, management of the pilots, the development, prototype testing and the entire sales part. Mr. Lao will continue to support us as a friend and partner in production questions.
The goals of MTTEC are clearly defined and the timeline of new products is determined.
The most important points are the following:
    - Expansion of spare part supply in general.
    - Increase of our own stock in Europe and in Asia.
    - Solving the problem of spare parts in the United States.
    - Closer co-operation with all distributors and stores around the world.
    - Better quality through more correspondence with customers and dealers.
    - Finding new partners throughout the world.
    - Enlargement of the pilot teams. Focus is currently in the US.
    - Active product maintenance of existing products.
In addition, the company MTTEC plans to develop and sale following products and product groups in the foreseeable future:
    - Second canopy design Compass Chronos
    - Three-Blade-Rotor-Head Compass Chronos – testing completed
    - Second canopy design Compass 550 Ultimate
    - Inclusion of RAGE rotor blades starting with the 700mm blades – testing completed
    - Colour-anodised tail booms for better visibility (eXo 500, Chronos, 550 Ultimate, Ultimate and 6HV, Warp 360)
    - Launch of the prototype testing phase eXo 500
    - Develop a speed project with the possibility of an appropriate helicopter.
Most frequently we were approached lately on the eXo 500. Here we will show some pictures and information, after checking the feasibility soon. There will be no publication in small bites and no announcement of an announcement, but a clear statement with all the information and explanations of technical points.
At the end, a few words about the current situation in the US. The paths of ProStar and Mike Jankowski broke up. The reasons for this are serious and versatile. Over all, we see the cooperation with ProStar positive. Chris Wrigley was the owner of ProStar and he still is the owner of the company. With the help of Adam Lasker he will reorganize the whole structure. New partners at the East and West coast are extremely important, because of the complex US-Market. ProStar will increase the stock of spare parts step by step and is willing to do a proper marketing in the future. The pilot team is adapted to the European and receives the same team clothing. Discussions with major stores are starting shortly. We will try to get some super stores with all spare parts constantly in stock.
The backup solutions with the Compass Store and RC Avenue (EU countries) will be further expanded. We want never again that a Compass customer have to wait long for spare parts or is afraid about getting parts for it in the future.
    Best regards
    Jürgen Karg and Sebastian Zajonz

Great to see they're laying it all out on the table for everyone to see. No point in beating around the bushes I guess.
