OK Dunkan won also another competition:

I wonder if jury can be influenced by manufacturers?

These wins mean nothing to me. These guys do a minimum of 3000 flights p.a and even more on the sim. They can make a turd with wings look good in the air.

      Congratulations to Eric Webber.

I am curious, what FBL system was Eric Webber using?

      Was it a Bavarian Demon?

Winning 4 competitions by Align makes me think about Harley-Davidson.

Did Harley won Moto GP ever?

"In a surprise announcement Harley-Davidson has today confirmed that it will be running a two-bike full factory team in the 2016 MotoGP series after agreeing terms with nine times World Champion Valentino Rossi."
      https://rideapart.com/articles/valentino-rossi-signs-harley-davidson-2016-motogp

      So probably it matters...

      Why best pilots choose Align?

      Who is real market Leader?

There are many Align haters. I am glad Align pilots won those competitions.

I'm guessing that would have to be the almighty Chronos!

Why do best pilots choose Align?

Curtis Youngblood won both F3C and 3D masters, what brand of helicopter does he use?

I do not see Curtis competing in 2015.

He is probably flying Rave and Stingray he created.

you know something... you dont see a lot of people who have been instrumental in the hobby over the years still competing.. sometimes you need to respect the years and knowledge these people have.. not just how good they are on the sticks... for someone who always bangs on about how all the other frames are overpriced and not by into the hype blah blah, you have jumped on the "they win a competition so they must know all about these helis" forget they guys who have been doing it for decades...

I should know better than to get involved in any of your threads...

Align is not a bad brand, they are well made and they fly great on great hands. It's BS to compare it and to say that a Goblin is a BMW and a TRex is an Opel Corsa. There is not a huge difference between brands if you set them up properly with nice components. I chose Align over other brands just because I could find Align spares easier and the price/quality ratio was good as well. Perhaps very classy with little innovations but they do the job well done.

      Here is my view,

Curtis Youngblood has won both, 3D masters and F3C, and he used paddles like a real man and didnt need a FBL unit. I wonder how many pilots these days would be able to take on Curtis Youngblood without a FBL unit.

Hirobo helicopters have won both and F3C competition, and XFC.

When has Align won both F3C and a 3D competition?

Just because Align frames where used in the F3N and won in one year does that make them their sponsored pilots the best and their helicopters the best?

Kyle Dahl won the 2012 3D masters in 2012, if Align are so good, and their pilots are so good, why didnt they beat Kyle Dahl back then, and why didnt they beat JR in the F3C this year?

Why are you so angry Align team pilots win in 2015? :)

Align airframes are also overpriced. :)

Look at Assault 700 DFC in Australia warehouse $171.14, not over 1 grand like new Goblin or other "brands".

I fly three 450 PRO clones. I understand why people hate clones. Two of them were grounded yesterday due to breaking bolts in $7 FBL heads. There are problems with them all the time but it was fun to discover which parts work best. I mean which landing gear is strongest, which motor is strongest, which cheap blades cannperform. I ordered three new Tarot DFC heads. Actually they are better designed than Align DFC head.

People do not see that with 700 clones story is not the same. I use few Align parts but my stretched 800 prooved to be solid and 700 is smooth and very strong.

Was I surprised $300 Scorpion motor is not stronger than $50 Gartt 700 motor? No.

I do respect Curtis Youngblood. Please look at the title of this thread. I pointed out that Align pilots won at least 4 competitions this year.

I heard Goblin is "Ferrari", flies better than "old design" Align etc.

So my question is how many competitions were won by Goblin pilots, TDR pilots, Rave pilots this year?

If Align helis are so outdated why they win? :)

Why my threads are so popular at forums? Polish epheli Gartt 800 thread 30000 views, Helifreak Gartt 800 thread 25000 views, Heligods... over 4800 views.

I am not to bash any heli. I just want to show what worked for me AND what did not. My main concern is objective judgement. I was first to report issues with my helis and provide solutions. I was flying 800 and 700 yesterday many times. Back in 2013 many said Assault is lethal piece of shiz from China... Where are they now?

      Do you catch my drift?

Haha this stuff is amusing me to no end!

I reckon that the heligods admin should create a little popcorn button to appear at the bottom of each post like the thumbs up/down etc buttons. I'm sure @utrinque's threads would top that leaderboard too!
