I saw something on youtube.. Thats what I have been thinking about so many years ago as a kid.. I couldnt imagine FPV then but flying a rc plane or heli while sitting in a driving car. Watch the video. Its realy great stuff. What heli would be the best to do that guys? Speed, stability, flight time is important.

I can imagine police and military applications for that type of setup.

interesting question @iggy. Mostly drones are selected for FPV because of their stability - however I know of a very popular drone company who do productions for movies and they sometimes use a heli. I will see if i can get intouch with Radar (one of the producers) and ask what heli they use for their FPV and filming..

Would be nice to know. I know about the Align Trekker conversion with their own gimbal system. But for FPV there is no need for a big camera. The heli should be fast but stable. Logo 800 or sonething in this class. To overtake the car with 200 km/h + hahaha

The other thing what @Beaver said.. Police patrol drones.. Thats the sad future my friends. We test this things for them, pay for the projects and then they will use em against us. .

I have heard that Vic police are organizing a drone squad as we speak. Maybe jobs for some talented pilots...
