Question? Have You Ever Wanted To Go Back To A Previous Model?

Have you ever owned a helicopter that you crashed, wrote off, or sold and later thought, I want to go back to it?

I used to have a Hirobo Lepton that I wrote off during a crash, I didnt bother repairing it as the frames cost a ridiculous amount for a 425 mm bladed helicopter. So I moved on and got a Mikado xxtreme 480.

But after awhile, I have had realised, that Hirobo Lepton was awesome, there was something about it, when you told it to so something it did it and did not go off track.

Dare I say it, I liked how it flew more than how a xxtreme 480 flies.

I love and hate Gaui X5. I want it back!

It is flying awesome but I keep having problems with it.

I crashed it hard today again. It was eight or ninght fighter today. New blades. Suddenly I lost control. Probably one Power HD servo started it new life. I was fighting with it, finally gamę up, hit throttle hold.

Domagae is serious. New frame survived.

It was really bad day for me. Crashed 450 nothing serious but lost my favourite blades which ale now discontinued. Had problems with X7F maiden.

      I am not enthusiastic...

Irony... Gartt 700 did not dissapoint me today again.

Problems with other helis ale not related to airframes only to servos.

I am starting to understand those who are happy to Pay $150 for one servo. I am not. Call me stubborn.

Yeah, This Guy. Such an incredible work horse. I still have its carcass hanging up in the workshop.

I came in late, guys ..... your "has beens" would probably keep me entertained for quite some time. I almost completely missed out on the "fly-bar era" (except I own a 120sr).

The one I miss flying the most, is my Synergy N5. I still have the airframe, although I decommissioned it back in 2013 when I signed on with TSA.

Its a pretty popular flyer for good reason. They fly exceptionally well.

Nope. I haven't gone far enough forward to look back that far. :)
