    Well , I almost lost everything ...

Last night I had a bad dream about a lipo fire, One of the ones when you wake up you learn to listen to it .. Strange i thought .. better take a look. I looked thru the house and found one sitting in the bottom of the wardrobe, Puffy and very warm !!!

How lucky was that .. It was not far off going up in flames for sure... Might pay for people to do a check thru your own home, Not worth taking a chance .. Maybe the dream was about a fire at your place !!

Well, that was close! Good job you woke up for that one.
I went to the wardrobe last night looking for the hot chick I had the dream about, but it was ok she was still tied up & hasn't escaped......

Scary stuff, I like to store my lipos on the concrete in my garage so if they do go up it wont cause the house to burn down. Also I installed a smoke detector in my garage so if one goes ill know about it right away.

That's very unusual, now I'm not doubting your clairvoyant skills @The Dude (especially considering your proximity to the Gods), but I'm wondering if there may have been a pharmacological explanation to this. I hypothesize that trace amounts of lithium gas (that sweet smelling lithium) was permeating the house, and you smelled (sensed) it while sleeping, which triggered the subconscious to dream of lithium battery fire, an association we have all seen in our conscious moments (unfortunately). Now knowing how devastating these can be, you woke in fear, found the battery and saved the day (and your house (and maybe your life)). Interesting.

Good stuff there @simon... However I did not wake to it... I was awake for 5 or 6 hours before I looked...The dream was just something that prompted me to look as it was nagging at me all day ..

I still wonder what caused the battery to get hot like that ..

      Woah, good save.
I've just been keeping mine in the lipo safe bags, think I might need to look into cinder blocks / garage storage asap
