Info Mini-protos Experiment

    Well after continuous belt slipping over the last two weeks i decided to scrap the solid pinion and try the new HP one way. Only problem is its a 14 tooth and my minip was screaming at 13. So tomorrow when i trial it could be a good day or a disastrous. Im tipping with a new pack close to 4k.

    Thats pretty darn fast...

      Well yes @Storm Heligod rained on my parade @Crash Heligod not you! I didnt crash, my heli didnt explode (thank heligod) and the performance? Not bad. BUT I was watching @3dmick fly his goblin 380. Dam that thing is fast. It was doing at least 150 ISH Klms on straight runs. It was blowing a gale but micks heli just rocketed through it. I have to wait for a calmer day to give a decent appraisal on the minip. It was pretty good but to hard to tell with this type of heli when its blowing a gale...

      gobble gobble come on @smakmeharder you know it's time to retire the miniP and get a goblin 380 I am so impressed with the 380 i didn't fly any thing else to day even in the wind the 380 just lapped it up :)

      The G380 is a weapon for sure, the more I see the more I like. I'm coming to think it should be in every pilot's arsenal

      @simon, i am watching .... and being more convinced. Today I saw overspeeds on a that little beast that was screaming like a banshee. It made the wind look non-existent. It only has like 6 bolts to screw on the frame (maybe a couple more) compare to like 24 on my minip... Mick was giving it full collective through some hard moves at full speed. It made me think it might be able to handle a full speed psycho - something i wont do on a larger than 450 size heli..... And even if it couldnt (which i think it could from what i saw), it is very easy to repair!

      That turkey looks like our old pet Christmas (a male turkey), boy he had some attitude (and big too), until he went around the side of the shed and 'slipped on an axe'. We still have Dinner though (the female turkey - they were a pair). Dinner is probably about 12 years old now.

      Mate just do it put your order in @ZEN RC
      I can't wait to see a 12s 380 I think it will handle any thing you can throw at it
      For a 450 size Heli it stands out so well in the air it will do anything big air low down smack a 12s would be insane you know it's going to happen any way hahshshahahah
